What is a Starbucks Pick-Up?
It is a service offered by our company to help those staying in or around the hostels and hotels to get to the Tour starting point. A New Munich guide meets customers at 10am, & 12:30pm inside the Hauptbahnhof in front of Starbucks. Check out the maps for exact locations of the Tour pick-up point and meeting point.
What month do the tours start?
The free walking tour, the select tours, and the private tours run year-round in all weather, and also on public holidays.
Are reservations required for the tours?
Reservations for the free and select tours are not necessary, unless your group exceeds 10 people. For private tours, however, reservations are a must (although short notice tours are certainly possible). Please contact us for more information.
How long are the tours?
All the tours are about 3 hours long. With travel time, however, the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Tour is about 5 hours long, the Neuschwanstein Castle Tour is about 8 hours long and the Beer Challenge is about 4 hours long.
Is it possible to do two of your tours in one day?
Yes, you can in one day do a Free Tour or Dachau Memorial Tour and in the evening come on the beer challenge.
Unfortunately, due to the departure times and length of the tours, it is not possible to do a free tour and castle tour in one day.
Is there a maximum number of people allowed on a tour?
No, there is no maximum number of people for tours. There are always multiple guides to ensure that everyone can be accommodated (each group is split between the guides, with a maximum of 40 people per guide). If you are planning on joining the tour with a group larger than ten people, reservations are required so that we can be sure to have an appropriate number of staff members at the tour starting point on the given day.
Are the tours wheelchair accessible?
All the tours contain a few inclines and uneven terrain, and they last for at least 3 hours. Despite this, they are all manageable by wheelchair as long as one is accompanied by an able-bodied carrier.
What time do I need to show up for my tour?
It’s not necessary to arrive for a tour BEFORE the start time, although of course preferable for a prompt start.
Will it be hard or unsafe to get home from the Beer Challenge?
The Beer Challenge guides will give you detailed instructions on how to get back to certain parts of the city from the final Beer Challenge stop (the Hauptbahnhof).
On which days does the Beer Challenge take place?
The Beer Challenge is now being offered EVERY DAY in all weather conditions and on all public holidays.
Does one need to reserve a spot on the Beer Challenge?
No, and the more the merrier! If you would like to arrange a private Beer Challenge or Munich Night Life Tour, however, contact us directly form this site, e-mail us at info@neweuropetours.eu or call us at +49 (0) 176 24729989.
Does the Beer Challenge meet at the same spot every night?
Yes, the meeting spot is always the same; 6 pm in front of the Starbucks inside of HAUPTBAHNHOF
